By accessing or using LawAssistant, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
2. Description of Service
LawAssistant provides AI-powered legal document management, including document editing, template management, compliance checking, and approval workflows.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One person per user account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload malicious content or malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Interfere with the service's operation
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the service.
Our Service: LawAssistant and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. AI-Generated Content
Our service uses AI to assist with document creation and editing. AI-generated suggestions are for assistance only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before use.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal validity of AI-generated content.
7. Payment Terms
- Subscription fees are billed in advance
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- Overdue payments may result in service suspension
8. Service Level Agreement
Starter plan: 99.9% uptime SLA
Enterprise plan: 99.99% uptime SLA
Scheduled maintenance is excluded from uptime calculations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawAssistant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms immediately.
Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
